1 # Elastic Net Regression 2 3 ML D3 4 5 **Definition:** Elastic net regression is another form of linear regression that adds a regularization term to the loss function which is a middle ground between ridge and lasso regression. 6 7 As it relates to linear regression, it is good to add some regularization and when we know some coefficients should be 0 we should rely upon elastic regression. Otherwise ridge regression is a good option when we don't think there are useless features.
